Program Essentials

6 day/week overall Competition fitness builder. It is structured to make sure that each weeks you will maximise progress in every domain of the Crossfit competitive tests.

Spreading your training on 2 sessions allows us to dive a bit deeper in each end of the fitness spectrum : aerobic capacity and strength. The morning sessions of 40 to 60 minutes are either conditioning oriented, allowing us to perform running or ergs progressions on both power and capacity either Strength/Structure around the “slow” lifts. Your afternoon session will be your main Crossfit session of 60 to 90 minutes of Weightlifting, Gymnastic or Metcons.

Each workouts are oriented toward a particuliar goal and the intended stimulus is described in the comment section. The heavier or more technical workouts always offer levels Rx, Intermediate or scaled to make sure everybody gets the intended stimulus.

program for?

Depending on the progress of the season the cycles will fit most athletes needs (open season, throwdowns in spring/summer, off season etc…)

Keep in mind that more is not always better. If you train twice daily you need to pay an extra attention on recovery (sleep and nutrition).

For the best experience and to ensure you can complete the stimulus as intended, it is recommended to train at a fully equipped gym, CrossFit box or Home gym. Required Material weekly : Erg, Barbell & Bumpers, Dumbbells, Pull-up bar, Rings & Medballs.
For this program, there are 11 training sessions per week.
Yes, there are scaling options available for different levels. Each workout includes modifications to ensure that athletes of all abilities can participate and benefit, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced athlete.
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays include a first 60 to 90-minutes session then a shorter 45 to 60-minutes session.
Yes, you can cancel at any time. However, please note that a one-month notice period is required before cancellation takes effect. To cancel, please send an email to pierre@piratesprogram.com.
